Keywords:organic field-effect transistor, carbon electrode, complementary circuit

Field-effect transistors consisting of single-crystalline organic semiconductors exhibit high carrier mobility exceeding 10 cm2/Vs, thus they have been attempted for use in lightweight, inexpensive, mass-producible communication and sensor devices. However, the electrode material is often an expensive precious metal such as gold or silver. Herein, we have established a simple spray patterning process of carbon contact electrodes and have successfully driven a basic complementary circuit.
