[20p-B204-5] Fabrication and transport properties of SrFeO3/LaNiO3 heterostructures with polar interfaces

Hetero interfaces in perovskite oxides exhibit unique electronic states that do not occur on their single films.However, little is known about the interactions at the interface between materials with high transition metal valence. We fabricated an interface between high-valent SrFeO3 and LaNiO3 and investigated their electrical properties. In the bilayer films, metallic behavior was observed, and a decrease in resistivity originating from the transition to the helical magnetically ordered phase was observed at 130 K (observed at 110 K in the monolayer SrFeO3). On the other hand, the superlattice structure exhibited insulating behavior.
