In this study, we prepared nanocrystals composed of 10,12-nonacosaziinic acid (NDA) and evaluated their solid-state polymerization. In addition, an ion-detecting acetylene sensor was prepared by utilizing the color change of polydiacetylene induced by introducing various ions (Li+, Na+, K+, and Cs+) into the obtained polymer nanocrystals.
