[20p-M206-5] Neuromorphic devices utilizing ionic and molecular reactions

Megumi Akai1,2 (1.Osaka Univ., 2.Hokkaido Univ.)

Keywords:neuromorphic, polymer, ionic

Molecules and nanomaterials exhibit similar functions of neurons, such as, stochastic fluctuations and noise, dynamics, plasticity. In this research, a neuromorphic device referring these analogies are investigated. Recently, we are focusing on the response of ions, a synaptic device that apply the doping effect of conductive polymer wires and reservoir computing using Faradic current.
