Recently, we succeeded in terahertz oscillation using Bi-2212 whisker crystals and found that its refractive index is different from that of bulk single crystals through polarization measurement using a wire grid. In order to verify the validity of the polarization measurement, we simulated the radiation from a perfectly conducting patch antenna with the same dimensions as the terahertz oscillation intrinsic junction row using a three-dimensional electromagnetic field analysis software and compared it with the experimental data. As a result, it was confirmed that the principal axes of the polarization ellipse have an offset from the horizontal or vertical direction when the oscillation frequency deviates from the cavity resonance frequency.
