Conventional photovoltaic power generation systems face the problem of saturation of suitable sites where they can be installed. This research promoted the development of next-generation transparent solar cells for window applications by integrating advanced energy device technologies and AI technologies that enable the increased use of renewable energy. Specifically, we focused on coated perovskite/PbS quantum dot intermediate-band solar cells, which are very suitable for window applications, and developed it to achieve both high efficiency and see-through effect. Since there are many objective variables to be considered, we developed an inverse design method by simulating quantum dot solar cell devices using AI reinforcement learning. Furthermore, we aimed to improve the performance of the inverse design method by simultaneously fabricating the device structures obtained by the inverse design.
