Colusites Cu26T2M6S32 have the combination of low thermal conductivity and relatively high power factor in the temperature range of 300–673 K. In the previous work for M = Ge colusites, the power factor was enhanced by decreasing the size of T cation on going from W, Mo, to Cr. In this work, we investigated effects of the size of T cation as well as M cation on the structural and thermoelectric properties of Cu26T2M3Sb3S32 (T = V, Nb, Ta; M = Ge, Sn) colusites.
