We studied thermoelectric properties of RbZn4As3. Crystal structure of 143 Zintl compounds is closed to 122 Zintl compounds that exhibit low thermal conductivity. In addition, they consist of double conducting layers, which could lead to improving electric mobility in 122 compounds. In this study, we substituted Zn with Cu for enhancing thermoelectric properties by optimizing carrier concentration. As results, we found ZT value of 0.53 around 800 K.
