[22a-C105-9] Ultrathin Mesh-type Polymer Thermistors for Ultraflexible Protection Circuits

We developed polymer positive temperature coefficient thermistors with mesh structures that can provide gas-permeability. The thermistor layer was composed of a mesh structure with ultrathin fibers of approximately 6 μm, and exhibited an increase in resistance by more than 2000 times between 35 and 37°C (2°C). This sharp increase in resistance is expected to be applied in protection circuits, especially in long-term wearable devices that require gas-permeability.
