Indigo-based organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) are stable in air and have both p-type and n-type carrier transport properties. In addition, since the performance of OFETs improves as the crystallinity of indigo improves, it is common practice to form a tetratetracontane (TTC) film between the indigo and the insulating film. Therefore, we investigated the structure of TTC and indigo multilayer films to study the effect of TTC on the structure of the indigo film at the interface between the organic semiconductor and the insulating film, which is important in OFETs.
