[22p-A200-2] Photon-spin quantum interface based on semiconductor spin qubits

Akira Oiwa1 (1.SANKEN, Osaka Univ.)

Keywords:spin qubit, photon-spin quantum interface, quantum repeater

Spin qubits based on semiconductor quantum dots are suitable candidates for quantum computers and are expected applications to quantum communications. We are studying an application of semiconductor spin qubits to quantum repeaters for long distance quantum communications. In this talk, we will focus on the recent achievements on the enhancing the conversion efficiency from single photon to single electron spin in a quantum dot by using photonic nanostructures.
