[22p-A205-3] Spin-torque FMR induced by acoustic spin Hall effect

Surface acoustic wave (SAW) can induce magnetization dynamics in various mechanisms. Recently, we reported that an AC spin current (acoustic spin current) is generated via spin-orbit interaction in heavy metal thin film by SAW (acoutic spin Hall effect). The acoustic spin Hall effect under FMR condition is not explored yet and it is expected to excite magnetization dynamics. In this work, we investigate DC votages developing in W (2 nm)/CoFeB (1 nm) film during SAW excitation with respect to the magnetic field angle and magnitude. The measured voltages show the same angle dependence with conventional spin-torque FMR measurement when the field magnitude is small enough, which suggests that spin-torque FMR is induced by the acoustic spin current.
