Considering several Bi2Se3 surfaces, the surface depth dependence of the Dirac electrons was obtained by applying density functional theory calculations to obtain data for direct comparison with PEEM data. Compared to clean QL surfaces, the p-DOS of Dirac electrons may be enhanced when Bi surfaces are obtained. The consistency with PEEM data is discussed.
