Keywords:plasma catalysis, methanation, simulation

Methanation with plasma catalysis has attracted attention, but the interaction between plasma and catalyst is complex, and little is known about the reaction mechanism. In this study, we aimed to elucidate the role of each particle species in methanation by analyzing the reaction using zero-dimensional simulations in combination with experimental data. As a result, we found that CO2 and CO-derived excited species contribute significantly to methanation.
