Covalent sp3 defects into semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (s-SWCNT) induce significant brightening of photoluminescence, and thus the functionalized s-SWCNT become interesting candidates for electrically driven light sources. Here, we investigate the impacts of sp3 defects on out-of-plane heat and electrical transports in the s-SWCNT thin film by our time-domain thermoreflectance where Au is a transducer.
