Recently, novel phenomenon of spectral peaking in optical fibers was discovered in our laboratory. The sharp spectral dips turn into spectral peaks periodically along the fiber propagation. In this work, we investigated the characteristics of spectral peaking both experimentally and numerically using arbitrary spectral filter with LCOS-SLM. Especially, we focused on the fiber dependences of this phenomenon.
