[22p-P13-16] Morphological Observation of Binary Small Molecule Phase Separated Structure on the Order of Nanometer by OsO4 Staining

We have been studying a phase separation structure of several nm in size using a binary organic semiconductor containing C60. Using stacked samples, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and HAADF-STEM mode of transmission electron microscopy confirmed that the C60 region was stained with OsO4. In addition, phase separation structures are prepared by co-evaporation, and HAADF-STEM images are observed after OsO4 staining. Small molecule crystals of the size of several nm dispersed in the OsO4 dyed C60 region was able to be visualized.
