[23a-A401-3] Improvement of Photocatalytic Performance and Evaluation of Physical Properties of NaOH-Treated Graphitic Carbon Nitride
Keywords:photocatalyst
Titanium dioxide, currently the mainstream photocatalyst, is active only in ultraviolet light. In contrast, graphitic carbon nitride is a photocatalyst that is active even in visible light. However, its low activity efficiency as a photocatalyst has prevented its practical application. Therefore, we attempted to improve the activity efficiency by performing hydrothermal polymerization treatment with NaOH when preparing the samples. The prepared samples were evaluated from various viewpoints such as hydrogen production, SEM, PL, and XRD.
