Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), which is a layered substance, can be prepared as an ultrathin film consisting of several atomic layers by a simple method. Since the MoS2 ultrathin film has a large specific surface area and its electronic properties are extremely sensitive to surface conditions, it is attracting attention as a sensor device material that can detect trace amounts of target molecules with high accuracy. In this study, we investigated the change in electrical characteristics when a field-effect transistor (FET) using MoS2 as a channel material contacts with an alcohol fluid.
