[22a-P01-5] Development of label-free PCR by using plasmonic crystal
Keywords:Polymerase Chain Reaction, Plasmon, DNA analysis
The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method, which is widely used in DNA analysis, has conventionally required complicated operations such as labeling and staining. In this study, simple and unlabeled PCR detection was performed by photodetection using a plasmonic crystal (PC). As an analysis method, a figure of merit (FOM) was adopted to confirm the overall change in each PCR cycle. As a result, a difference was confirmed between the positive control and the negative control, suggesting the possibility of unlabeled PCR detection by PC.
