我々は太陽熱を利用する太陽熱発電装置の開発を行っている。これまで幾度かの試作を行ない，評価を行ってきたが，装置全体の熱抵抗と集熱率によって発電性能が大きく左右されることが分かった。太陽熱発電装置に於いてそれぞれの評価指標として，β，及びαを定義し，装置の出来栄えを評価する方法を考案した。これらの指標の実験的検証手段について説明する。
