Among colloidal quantum dot (CQD) based solar cells, heterojunction solar cells formed with lead-chalcogenide CQD and ZnO exhibit impressive solar cell performance. However, the exploration of non-toxic and earth-abundant CQD-based solar cells is still very limited. We have reported heterojunction solar cells with colloidal AgBiS2 nanocrystals and ZnO nanowires. In this study, major defects in ZnO nanowires that are closely related to AgBiS2 nanocrystals solar cells performance were identified using photoluminescence and Raman scattering spectroscopy.
