The shield tunneling method is often used to excavate large scale tunnels. However, cave-ins caused by this method have been occurring even in recent years. Therefore, we propose a disaster prevention system that detects underground cavities in real time by using a cosmic-ray muon tracker that follows a shield machine. In the proposed method, it is necessary to verify whether the detector can obtain enough statistics to detect cavities because the detector moves while measuring. For this porpose, the muon flux in the underground was calculated by using Minato's equation. As a result, it is shown that the moving detector can detect the underground cavity with statistical significance.
