Bound states in the continuum (BICs) 条件を満たした誘電体メタサーフェスはシャープな共振ピークをもつため、そのスペクトルシフトを利用した高分解能なバイオセンサの実現が期待される。本研究では、BICに基づくメタサーフェスの構造最適化による大きな屈折率感度と、高感度センシングの可能性を報告する。
