Keywords:nanopore, ionic current, energy dissipation

Nanopore is a small hole in a membrane that can be used to detect indivisual molecules and particles in liquid by simple electrical current measurements. In this talk, I will present an exprimental work that aimed to elucidate how the nanopore temperature may change upon inducing ion flow via the transmembrane voltage.
