[23a-E307-4] Stabilizing method of a double quantum dot towards long-term and stable spin-qubit operation

Spin confined in semiconductor quantum dot is a compelling qubit candidate to realize quantum computers. However, quantum dot potentials are often suffer from drifting and shifting due e.g., to charge noise, interfering long-time qubit operation. Here we implement a method based on PID feedback control and inspired by gradient descent to stabilize a double quantum dot, which also works for multi-dimensional potential condition. This allows us to stabilize the double quantum dot potentials for hours effectively suppressing the low frequency noise. We anticipate this work will contribute towards reducing charge noise effects on large-scale spin qubit devices as well as reducing the readjustment time in near-term devices.
