A K+ sensitive membrane was applied on a plant insertion type H+ image sensor based on CMOS image sensor technology. The vertical half of the sensor was masked with polyimide tape and the K+ sensitive membrane was applied to create a sensor with K+ and H+ pixels. The sensor was then characterized and found to be capable of measuring both K+ and H+. Finally, the sensor was inserted into the side shoots of tomatoes, and simultaneous imaging of K+ and H+ was successfully performed.
