layered crystals consisting of diCn-BTBT and TCNQ operate as n-type semiconductors. The intermolecular interactions in the crystals control the molecular arrangement in the crystals and affect the conductivity and film formation property, but the effects of alkyl chain length and substituents of TCNQ on the intermolecular interactions in the crystals are not clearly understood. Therefore, we analyzed the effects of alkyl chain length and fluorination of TCNQ on the intermolecular interactions in crystals using dispersion corrected density functional calculations.
