We report a wet-stretching process using chlorosulfuric acid (CSA) for the fabrication of high-performance carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers. The wet-stretched CNT fiber shows a lower void density and higher orientation parameter than as-made fibers, resulting in improvement of the breaking stress.
