[24p-E304-1] 2D Materials, Great Expectation for Nanoelectronics Application

〇Junichi Sone1 (1.JST)

Keywords:two-dimensional materials, nanoelectronics application, miniaturized semiconductor device

Two-dimensional semiconductor materials, ranging from graphene to TMDs, are expected to be the channel materials for semiconductor miniaturization extreme devices, and research and development of these materials has been intensified worldwide. Engineering challenges such as material synthesis, doping, electrode formation, and miniaturization integration process development have already begun. In addition, the unique properties of two-dimensional materials have raised expectations for applications in novel electrical, optical, biosensing, and even quantum devices.
