6-Cycloparaphenylene ([6]CPP) is a non-planar π-conjugated molecule with a structure consisting of six benzene rings cyclically bonded at the para position. Due to [6]CPP’s unique molecular structure, it is important to clarify the electronic structure of [6]CPP in thin films as well as to develop solid-state thin films of [6]CPP. In this talk, we will focus on the electronic structure of [6]CPP polycrystalline thin films and discuss the effect of the deposition conditions on the electronic structures.
