To meet the urgent requirement of beam scanning for next-generation 3D sensing. A electrically-driven VCSEL-integrated 2D beam scanner was proposed and demonstrated. It realized beam scanning field of view of >70 deg.x 45 deg with resolution of >30,000. assisting with DOE-based optics. Thanks to the omission of external light source, it provides great potential for mm-scale compact packaging.
