[25a-P04-2] Evaluation of elastic modulus of adult zebrafish heart by AFM
Keywords:AFM, zebrafish, Biophysics
Atomic force microscopy (AFM), which is used in a wide range of observation environments, can quantitatively evaluate the mechanical properties of biological samples. Previous studies have provided evidence for the effect of viscoelasticity of the extracellular matrix on cardiac development. In this study, we will measure the physical properties of the heart tissue of adult zebrafish, a teleost, using AFM to evaluate the relationship between the viscoelasticity of the extracellular matrix and the morphological changes and cell differentiation of the heart.
