Single-pass optical parametric amplifiers (OPA) can generate broadband squeezed light, which is promising for applications such as quantum information processing and quantum metrology. One of the important technical challenges for the application of squeezing with a single-pass OPA is the precise phase locking of squeezed vacuum to the local oscillator (LO) light, while there has been no report of a stable phase locking scheme that is applicable to single-pass OPA squeezing. In this study, we developed a phase locking method that is applicable to single-pass OPA squeezing and demonstrated the phase locking of pulsed squeezed light generated by a single-pass OPA.
