Toshiba is developing a CO2 recycling technology using electrochemical conversion akin to artificial photosynthesis to promote a carbon neutral society.By increasing the size of the electrodes, stacking them and operating them at a high current density, we developed a CO2 electrolyzer capable of processing a large amount of CO2 at the level of 1 ton per year.In this talk, we will report on our efforts so far in the promotion of the technological development of CO2 reduction.
