[25p-E102-1] Role of Edge Termination in CVD Growth of hBN/Graphene Heterostructure

We have experimentally succeeded in controling hBN/graphene vertical and lateral heterostructures by CVD growth. We have been proposing that the origin of growth direction selectivity control is the H-termination of the edge of the existing island, based on the results of first-principles calculations. This time, we check this proposal based on the results of additional studies on the adsorption of BN dimer.
