[25p-E204-10] Creation of NV centers over a wide area by ultrashort pulse laser irradiation

Creating nitrogen-vacancy centers (NV centers) by irradiating femtosecond laser has attracted many attentions as a new promising method. Especially, creating a multidimensional array of single NV centers has been greatly interested for the application of the quantum information and quantum network. However, creating the high-density NV centers with a large area is also important to realize the quantum sensing with high sensitivity. For this purpose, we demonstrated the NV center creation with a large area by irradiating a femtosecond laser with a large focal spot.
