Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) are expected to find applications in numerous electronic devices due to their excellent electrical and semiconducting properties. However, the hydrophobic nature of SWCNTs makes it difficult to bond SWCNTs to each other or to other materials. In this study, we attempted to improve the wettability of SWCNT films by irradiating them with atmospheric pressure argon (Ar) plasma. Furthermore, we tried to improve the adhesion of solder using the SWCNT film with improved wettability.
