Iron phthalocyanine (FePc) molecule has drawn considerable attention as the material for the spin tronics devices using its novel magnetic properties. In this study, we investigated the ground state and magnetic propertis of FePc. We utilized X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism (XMCD) as the surface analysis tools. We used a monolayer CVD graphene transferred onto the silicon dioxide as the substrate. We report on the electronic states and magnetic properties of FePc moelcules based on the present results.
