Keywords:fiber sensing, polarization vortex

In the previous research, we proposed a fiber sensing method using polarized vortices for probe light. In the previous presentation, it was shown that the distortion direction and magnitude can be detected from the mode spectral change of the polarized vortex. However, since the change in waveguide shape was not considered in the previous analysis, the calculation and comparison considering the change in shape this time were calculated and compared. It was shown that the difference in the mode spectrum was remarkable in the case where there was and no shape change, and the analysis including the change of the waveguide shape was necessary.
