The conductance of single molecules is paid attention for molecular devices, in which single molecules play a role of functions. High conductive molecular wires are necessary for molecular device. In this study, we synthesized molecules with triazatriangulene (TATA) as anchoring groups and investigated their single-molecule conduction properties as candidates for high-conductance molecular wires. The conductance measurements were performed using the Mechanically Controllable Break Junction method. We measured the single-molecule conductance of molecules constructed from 4,6,8 thiophene rings with TATA anchoring groups. The molecules with TATA group showed high conductance and coupling. TATA group is a high-performance anchoring group.
