A micro-bioassay has been getting attention to evaluate the overall environmental toxicity using living samples such as plankton for the recent serious environmental pollution by chemicals. In this study, we propose an effective and accurate method to evaluate the overall environmental toxicity based on the mobility of planktons under environmental pollution. The method is not based on the movement analysis of individual plankton but a dynamic changes of the biospeckle pattern that is generated by the colony of plankton.
