Circularly polarized light impinged to turbid medium with diffusive fine particles is scattered from fine particles and gradually depolarized. The degree of depolarization provides the structural information of the particles on the size, shape, and distribution. Since the depolarization depends on the ratio between the wavelength of incident light and the diameter of the particle, light of the appropriate wavelength can be applied to estimate the particle of the specific size. In this paper, we report that the relationship between wavelength and size of fine particles are calculated with Monte Carlo method and the biological applicability of this technique.
