Reservoir computing (RC) is expected to have low computational cost and low power consumption because it can be trained by only updating the weights of the output part. Recent studies have also reported that the reservoir part of RC can be replaced by various physical systems. In this study, we report the use of P3HT, a photoresponsive organic material, for the reservoir part and the performance evaluation of the NARMA2 task, one of the benchmark tasks for RC.
