The richer the depth clues in the 3D image display system, the more realistic stereoscopic effect that the viewers can obtain. In this study, we proposed a CGH generation method that introduced RGB-D data into the layer-based method to improve the depth display of reconstructed stereo images, and verified its feasibility. Furthermore, we also proposed a novel propagation computing method for dealing with gaps and artifacts due to phase discontinuities in the depth direction.
