[15p-A202-4] 3D Image Formation by Edge-Based DFD Display Using Aerial Images

We propose a 3D display that uses aerial images and edge-based DFD display. edge-Based DFD display changes the luminance ratio of stacked images and their edge images, which can be perceived as an image with depth. Therefore, depth information can be added to 2D images with simple display data. In addition, it is easy to observe a 2D image from a position other than the observation position. In this study, we will clarify whether the proposed optical system is effective in creating depth information in images.
