Doped Spiro-OMeTAD is one of the commonly used hole transporting materials of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Because of the low stability of doped Spiro-OMeTAD, dopant-free π-conjugated polymers are expected as alternative materials. In this study, we fabricated PSCs using poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) as hole transporting materials. Relationships between the cell performance and fabrication conditions were elucidated. The bandgap energy of P3HT experimentally estimated suggests that P3HT has appropriate HOMO and LUMO levels for PSCs.
