[16a-B414-8] In-situ LEEM observation of germanene segregation on Ag(111) thin films

Germanene, a 2D crystal of Ge atoms arranged in a honeycomb lattice, is attracting intense attention due to its intriguing physical properties. Germanene can be grown by Ge segregation on Ag(111) thin films from the Ge(111) substrate by annealing. In this work, we investigate germanene growth mechanism based on in-situ low-energy electron microscopy observations of Ge segregation on Ag thin films.
