[16a-D519-6] In-situ Measurement of Lithium Depth Distribution Around the Electrode/Solid State Electrolyte Interface by Ion Beam Analysis

The change of lithium (Li) depth distribution around the Pt/LATP interface in Li+ ion conductive glass ceramics symmetrical cell sample (Pt/LATP/Pt) was in-situ investigated with reliable depth resolution in a few nm scale by applying various voltages using Time-of-Flight Elastic Recoil Detection (ToF-ERD) with 4.0-MeV He2+ ion-probe beams. It made a possible to observe the reduction and increment of the static Li concentrations around the Pt/LATP interface under applying at positive and negative, respectively, voltages and clarify well the Li+ ion migration process.
