A device that converts radio signals to optical signals is required in the reception of radio signals in some wireless sections of mobile front/backhaul and remote antennas based on radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems. In this study, we fabricated and evaluated 375 GHz band antenna-coupled optical modulators using electro-optic (EO) polymer waveguides and patch antenna arrays.
